Hello and thanks for the great app!

Maybe it could be even greater with some spotlight functionality.
There could be added smart groups — something like spotlight saved searches in finder.
Of course if this idea is not falling out of your vision of the app.

With best regards and thanks.

Hi. Just bought a copy of Essentials from the AS after trying the demo. Seems great. I used to use Overflow (a good app) but this appears to take things further. Many congratulations! GB

Hi Dominik,

Thank you for your comments.
The idea you suggested is interesting but it would be pretty difficult to implement properly. We'll keep it in our todo list :)

Hey!

I just bought this app, I'm satisfied, but have also my idea upgrade, namely:

1. "Smart folder" - which will be automatically changing shortcuts/files in directory - with e.g. "name with highest number" example:

I working on website project, have homepage_v1.psd, contact_v4.psd etc, now when I create new version of this files (let say homepage_v2.psd) the old one (v1) will be replaced by the new v2 - automatically.
So in this "smart folder" will be only the newest files of my project (for quick access to lates project files :) hope you understand what I have on my mind.

That would be awesome!
Cheers!

Thank you for your comments :)
Unfortunately there is no way to change the menubar icon color. However, we will consider implementing one in the future.

Let me first start off by saying:
I love the application...

Now for the nitty-gritty:
Is there anyway to change the color of the menubar icon? I've got a black theme (obsidian mod) going on, and I'd really like to change the color of the icon to a white/grey. Every time I attempt this the application breaks... If there is not a way to change it (currently) are there any plans to implement one in the future? Maybe a choice of colors? :)

Cheers!

That action is definitely out of scope for this project. But, you can modify any keyboard shortcut via System Preferences > Keyboard on your Mac.
